This 100 page book was written by Madonna Barraclough (nee O’Brien) and published in 2000.
It provides a fabulous insight into life at the O’Brien family farm ‘Cooberang’ at Junee Reefs, in Western New South Wales. The O’Briens lived there until the early 1940’s when they moved to Sydney.
Madonna worked on the book with her Dad Harold, who is Irene and Bill’s 4th child.
The book features 43 detailed charcoal sketches and tells the story of the O’Brien’s from multiple points of view - Harold’s, Madonna’s and her daughter Lena.
