Sweet Pastry

Serves 6

Ingredients

2 cups of self-raising flour

2 tablespoons of margarine

2 tablespoons of sugar

1 egg (RL: it did have 2 eggs, but this was crossed out and changed to 1 in red and there was something else written in red which may be ‘a little milk’?)

Pinch of salt

Method

Mix flour and sugar with the margarine.

Add the beaten egg.

(Very nice made as an apple slice).

For meat pastry omit sugar and egg.
