Banana Cake
Ingredients
½ pound (225 grams) butter or margarine
12 ounces (340 grams) of caster sugar
4 eggs
5 or 6 bananas
4 tablespoons of milk
½ teaspoon of bi-carb soda
1 pound (450 grams) of self-raising flour
Method
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add mashed bananas.
The bi-carb soda dissolved in the milk.
And finally add the flour.
Bake in a slow oven (160°C or 140°C for fan forced) for about 45 minutes.
RL: Not sure what sized tin – probably a greased 20cm one.
